At The National Broadcasting Society conference this past March -
Rider won first place in 4 of the 6 programming categories in which we were entered. With 2 honorable mentions in the other programming categories - we were 6 for 6 in awards. This is especially impressive since Rider’s NBS Chapter is only it it’s second year . The students - Nick Ballasy, Jon Schulter, Sean Rainey, Diana Vigorito, Kristen Salvatore, Gina Grosso and their advisor Scott Alboum did a fantastic job with their productions and in representing the best of Rider at the conference.
Scott’s production, Date Rape: A Violation of Trust was awarded first place by the judges in the professional production category. That video is now being distributed by Films for the Humanities - perhaps the largest distributor of educational programs in the nation.
