Accessorize your sex life?

A couple of weeks ago, I drove past an adult bookstore, and on the sign read “Videos, Book, Gifts and Accessories.”

What’s this? We now have accessories for sex? I couldn’t help myself from laughing when I saw it. I have known for a while that these accessories, or as I like to call them, “sex toys,” have existed, but I never thought people actually used them.

I always thought a sex toy was something you gave as a gag gift to someone. I would never think someone would bring something like a toy into his or her sex life. What would a person do with one of these things? I can only imagine where some of them go and what they are used for.

I feel that sex toys could be fun. If that is what you like, then go for it. I just find them funny. I have gone into adult bookstores only to point and giggle at some of these things. It’s hard to picture someone actually being in bed with his or her partner and whipping out a sex toy. I, for one, would be offended if someone suggested using a sex toy.

I think there is something wrong if a sex toy must be introduced in order to make sex fun. These people must not know about the wonderful things that are simply locked away inside their imaginations. You don’t need a toy for any of this fun stuff. All you need is a little creativity, and your partner’s body can be your plaything.

Sex toys were probably invented for pure amusement. I don’t think they were intended to be used in the bedroom. Some of these things are so ridiculous that they would have to be a joke. But, someone got the brilliant idea of using one, and now they are known as “sexual accessories.”
