Letter to the editor: Rider fans, thank you for the support

Dear Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Rider student body and staff for their tremendous support throughout the basketball season. Through the hard work of the Student Government Association (SGA), the Student Entertainment Council (SEC) and Association of Commuting Students (ACS), Alumni Gymnasium once again became “The Broncs’ Zoo.”

As a team, we feed off the fan support and came to deeply appreciate it. As we made our push to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular season title, we depended on our fantastic students who displayed their remarkable pride in Rider and its basketball team.

By sponsoring and promoting home games, the SGA, SEC and ACS created an environment that our players and my staff truly appreciated. We had a genuine sense that the student body and community at large cared about Rider basketball and wanted to see it succeed. Once again, thank you.
