            Several vehicles were the victims of a decorative paintball attack on Friday, March 1, in the Fraternity Parking Lot.
            Security spoke to two male students who explained that when they returned to their vehicles, they noticed that both their cars had been shot at with red and green paintballs. The students removed the paint from the cars and did not note any significant damage.
            The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Safety & Security at x. 5029.

            Property mysteriously disappear ed from the rooms of three male students of Ziegler Residence Hall on Sunday, March 3.
            Security met with the first male student who said that he left his room  unlocked a little after midnight. When he returned a half-hour later, he noticed that a significant sum of money was missing. The student did not initially report the incident, but did so after speaking to his roommate. The roommate also stated that his video game console and several games were missing. The third student, who lived further down the hall, explained that two of his video  games had also been stolen.     
           
The Lawrence Police Department (LPD) responded and took a theft report. The cost of the stolen property adds up to  approximately $800.

            A sister of Phi Sigma Sigma checked her voice mail only to find an obscene phone call on Sunday, March 3.
            She contacted Security and explained that after returning to school that evening, she discovered a sexually explicit message. Security was able to trace the call back to a campus extension belonging to a male resident student.
            The investigation is continuing, and anyone with information can contact Safety & Security at x. 5029.

            A lost driver’s license and Rider ID card was recovered in a happy ending on Friday, March 1.
            The student told Security that on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 28, she dropped her ID card and license in the Open Lot while searching for her keys. Security discovered that her ID card had been used to make C-Store purchases and the LPD was later notified.
            On the evening of Friday, March 1, the female told Security that a fellow student had recovered her ID and license and returned them to her.
            The approximate loss on her C-Store card was only $5. 

Reminders from Security

            The Source states that anyone charged with the unauthorized possession of a firearm, or any other object designed to be commonly seen or used as a weapon, may be susceptible to campus fines and possible dismissal from campus.
