Bright Night

Members of the Princeton Pro Musica enhance the holiday atmosphere.
Students, faculty and staff witnessed a new tradition on Thursday, Dec. 7 — the
lighting of Moore Library with numerous white holiday lights.

Attendees participated in a candlelight procession to the library after gathering in the SRC for Rider’s 15th annual Celebration of Lights. Various stations featured different religions and cultures, including Chanukah (Judaism), Christmas (Christianity), Kwanzaa (African), Three Kings Day (Latin American), Diwali (Hindu), Boxing Day (Great Britain and its Commonwealths) and Eid Al-Fitr (Islam). Students from several campus organizations shared food, music, prayers and stories. For more ceremony photos, see page 4.
