Students save big by enrolling in CCS

A student’s Grand Prix got red hot minutes after he left for the library. The car caught on fire in the Commuter Lot on Thursday, Sept. 22, around 3 p.m. Lawrence Road Fire Company’s Rescue 22 responded and got the fire under control before it consumed the entire car. The student left the library, saw the smoke and knew it was his car. An electrical problem was reported to be the culprit, leaving heavy damage to the engine.

Freshmen flood in as administration makes adjustments

As The Rider News reported last week, rises in enrollment have led to longer lines in Daly’s and a higher frequency of tripled rooms within the residence halls. The undergraduate full-time day student enrollment has risen from 3,593 in 2005, to 3,825 in 2006 — a five percent increase.... MORE
