Busted
Another drug bust occurred on campus, this time in Kroner Hall. On Thursday, Nov. 17, at 2:13 a.m., it was reported to Public Safety that someone smelled an odor of marijuana coming from a room with a green towel stuffed under the door.
When the officers knocked on the door and were given permission to enter the room, they noticed drug paraphernalia and open containers of alcohol in plain view. The students were charged with alcohol, drug and fire violations. The matter has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.
Who’s that guy?
An unknown man was using the Daly’s computer for more than five hours on Friday, Nov. 18. Public Safety was notified at 4:12 p.m., and when the officers approached the man, he told them he was affiliated with the University by “advising a staff advisor for a club team.”
The man then proceeded to sit in the back of Daly’s and became loud. The Lawrenceville Police Department (LPD) was called, but the man left before the officers could arrive. He was issued a Persona Non Grata (PNG) letter.
All fall down
An inebriated female visitor fell down and got more than bump her head in Lincoln Residence Hall.
On Saturday, Nov. 19, at 10:47 p.m., Public Safety was notified that an under- aged visitor fell and hit her eye on an exit door. The officers noticed she had slurred speech and had the smell of alcohol on her breath. She was transported to an area hospital by ambulance and was issued a PNG.
