Smashed

The sound of shattering glass was heard as an unknown object was thrown through a Lincoln Residence Hall room window on Saturday, Oct. 15, around 3:25 p.m. After the resident student observed the cracked window, he touched the broken glass that was still in the window and more pieces fell to the ground below. Public Safety was dispatched to the scene. Facilities were notified and the repair is estimated to be around $111. Anyone with information is asked to contact x5029.

What’s that smell?
A distinct smell of marijuana was coming from a room in Wright Hall on Oct. 14, while a resident advisor was making her rounds. Public Safety was dispatched to the scene. After repeated failed attempts to reach the suspects, Pubic Safety received permission to enter and search the room. Once in the room, a strong smell was still noticeable in the air. A search of the room for any drug paraphernalia came up negative. Public Safety is in the process of questioning the two female residents.

Watch your head
While doing a round at the Cranberry Cafe on Friday, Oct. 14, at 3:30 a.m., a Public Safety officer reported vandalism. An unknown suspect ripped down three ceiling tiles and removed three support brackets. Public Safety suspects that an attendee at the Bart Luedeke Student Center Pub is to blame. Facilities was notified about the damage, and the cost to repair the ceiling is unknown at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call x5029.

Who did it?
A hit-and-run motor vehicle accident without injury was reported in the main fraternity parking lot on Monday, Oct. 10, at 4:50 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 9, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a female resident observed that her car had been struck on the rear quarter panel by an unknown vehicle. Lawrenceville Police Department services were offered and declined. The cost of repair is unknown at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call x5029.
