Ryan Parma has a long history of interest in the field of graphic arts and design. He designed his first website for his father and Knights of Columbus Council 7677 in 1996 at the age of 14. That website seems merely elementary, and almost child-like now. As he has matured, so have his eye for design. These days, Parma is just 15 credits shy of graduation at Rider University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a Multimedia concentration. He has maintained a 3.15 cumulative GPA overall, and a 3.5 GPA overall within his major. Relevant classes he has taken include: Publication Design and Advanced Publication Design, Digital Media for the Internet and Multimedia Communication.
Elsewhere at Rider, Parma has served as the web development chair for the Association of Commuting Students. He took over the chair upon transfer to Rider and immediately began work overhauling the entire site. Since then, he has designed two versions, the latter of which still resides as the organization's home page.
Parma is also a member of the Rider University Bronc Band, a pep band that plays during Rider's basketball games and other various events around campus. He has been apart of this club since September 2004.
Parma hopes to work in the graphic design field upon graduation this spring of 2005. Considering his diverse repetoire of skills and ability to adapt to almost any situation, there is no job he would not consider.
