About R.U.N.:

The Rider University Network is a student organization that produces television programs in the Department of Communication and Journalism’s Television Studio. Programs are regularly broadcast on the campus network and are available everywhere online. Current productions include:

This past weekend seven students from The Rider University Chapter of the National Broadcasting Society attended the National Broadcasting Society’s Annual Convention in New York City. As part of the convention, Rider students participated in the 46th Annual Electronic Media Competition. Video projects created by Rider students were nominated in six categories. Out of the six categories, Rider students won three first place awards and were also awarded three honorable mentions. Also of note, at the convention in New York City, Rider Sophomore Gina Grosso was elected to serve as the National Vice President for Student Services for The National Broadcasting Society. Rider’s NBS Chapter Advisor Scott Alboum was also elected to serve as the National Vice President for Communication for The National Broadcasting Society. Scott Alboum was also named the 2008-2009 National Broadcasting Society Professional Member of The Year.
